By accessing this site (“Site”), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of use (“Terms of Use”). FirstCaribbean International Comtrust Foundation Limited (“ FirstCaribbean International Comtrust Foundation”) reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, alter and/or update these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice to you and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations and/or updates immediately upon such modification, alteration or update being made to the Site.

  8. LEGAL INFORMATION: FirstCaribbean International Comtrust Foundation is a subsidiary of FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited. CIBC FirstCaribbean is currently only licensed to conduct business in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Turks & Caicos Islands and Trinidad & Tobago. There may not be compensation schemes, such as deposit insurance, in some countries covering deposits.
  9. GOVERNING LAW: This Site is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, all disputes, controversies or claims arising out of or in connection with the Site shall be submitted to and be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada. By accessing the Site you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada to finally adjudicate or determine any suit, action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with the Site.

CIBC FirstCaribbean” means FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited, its parents, including, (but not limited to), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and its Affiliates, including, (but not limited to), FirstCaribbean International Bank (Bahamas) Limited, Sentry Insurance Brokers Ltd., FirstCaribbean International Bank (Barbados) Limited, FirstCaribbean International Trust and Merchant Bank (Barbados) Limited, FirstCaribbean International Bank (Curaçao) N.V., FirstCaribbean International Bank (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited, FirstCaribbean International Bank (Cayman) Limited, FirstCaribbean International Bank (Jamaica) Limited, FirstCaribbean International Finance Corporation (Netherland Antilles) N.V., FirstCaribbean International Finance Corporation (Leeward and Windward) Limited, FirstCaribbean International Wealth Management Bank (Barbados) Limited, CIBC Bank and Trust Company (Cayman) Limited, CIBC Trust Company (Bahamas) Limited, and, including, (but not limited to), the Affiliates of any of the foregoing companies, such other Affiliates of FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited, as may, from time to time hereafter, come into existence and any successors or assignees of any one or more of the foregoing companies.


Person” means any individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, firm, entity, unincorporated association, unincorporated syndicate, unincorporated organization, trust, body corporate or governmental or regulatory Authority, and where the context requires, any of the foregoing when they are acting as trustee, executor, administrator or other legal representative.
